Margaret Gourley has been paralyzed from the neck down and unable to speak since 1979, when she had a catastrophic stroke. She communicates by moving her eyes, inspiring the people around her with her love of life -- and of peace. She paints with a brush attached to her forehead. This drawing -- a little bird trying to save the planet -- is her gift to the readers of PEACE. We thank you, Margaret. May all of us also express, using the varying powers available to us, our commitment to Life!
Do you benefit from PEACE Magazine? Do you wish more people were aware of the facts we present? You can help. mars what a peace movement is a project of enlightening others about the world's problems and what can be done. Let's work together to double the number of readers this year. Pass your copy on or leave it in your waiting room. Ask your librarian to subscribe. Ask your peace group or your church to buy it in bulk to sell. Give subscriptions instead of neckties or candy.
